Context
Video surveillance in an aircraft has a very important security function, especially when it relates to a large capacity aircraft. Our customer, a major aeronautical equipment supplier, is responsible for supplying the video system for the largest airplane in existence, the A380.
Challenge
Each company can customise their video system which leads to a multitude of architectures that must be able to be implemented in a simple and user-friendly manner.
Solutions & Results
Two bays were combined to accept, on one side, a sufficient number of cameras with their sighting systems and, on the other, all of the computers and electrical and optical connections necessary for their operation.
Positioning on sliding racks allows easy changing of the computer and its connections to the various elements present.
