Context
Our customer, a major automobile manufacturer, wishes to make the vehicles they produce more reliable by testing all of the vehicle functions.

Challenge
Generate configurable accelerations on the computer and its sensors while adding the usual vehicle faults (battery short circuits, earth and circuits open).
Solutions & Results
Using a magnetic motor coupled with a linear guide and an interchangeable plate, the TEST BENCH recreates the shocks (acceleration-deceleration) for all of the diverse vehicle architectures managed by the manufacturer.
A test bay equipped with a PXI chassis and acquisition and fault generating circuit boards is used to control all of the tests.
