Context
The Safe Launch tester is a TEST BENCH used on an industrial site to make the production of powered steering computers more reliable.
Challenge
Test five computers in parallel and withstand extreme temperatures (-45°C to +125°C) while connecting each one to a real load (motorised steering column) resulting in high currents.
Solutions & Results
A compact and complex mechanical interface connects each of the products both to the TEST BENCH and the real load located outside the oven.
The use of special materials guarantees the operation of the TEST BENCH in the required temperature range.
The duplication of material resources in the TEST BENCH, associated with software created in LabWindows CVI, allows the testing of five products in parallel.
