Context
In order to confirm the reliability of its circuit boards integrated into its pacemakers, our customer asked us to develop a range of test platforms that could withstand a 125°C oven for several years.
Challenge
DBA created the circuit boards and the design for the supports in a very tight timeframe while complying with the environmental constraints of the test and of the medical universe.
Solutions & Results
In order to be able to continuously withstand high temperatures, the circuits were created in polyimide and the circuit supports in PEEK. Several dozen circuit boards have resisted the temperature cycles for more than a year so far…
